Mother's Day Breakfast

If I were to get breakfast made just for me on Mother's Day ... oh, the possibilities. Just one more reason to teach your kids to cook young.

Orange Brioche French Toast with Bananas and Coconut

Shirred Eggs

Breakfast Panini
Looking for this recipe? It will be part of an upcoming book with Ali at Cleaner Plate Club.

Or perhaps, Bryant Terry's Soul Food Brunch?

Hell, I'll settle for scrambled eggs and an extra half hour of sleep.

Dear Expatriate,

I checked out your blog the other day, and noticed that you post about eating sustainably. I work for Chelsea Green, an eco-friendly publisher located in Vermont—we publish books on “the politics and practice of sustainability”—and I was wondering if you’d be interested in reviewing any of our books. A few titles that might interest you:

Renewing America’s Food Traditions; by Gary Paul Nabhan; http://beta.chelseagreen.com/bookstore/item/renewing_americas_food_traditions (recently featured on the NYT front dining page!)

Sharing the Harvest: A Citizen's Guide to Community Supported Agriculture, Revised and Expanded; by Elizabeth Henderson, Robyn Van En, and Joan Gussow; http://beta.chelseagreen.com/bookstore/item/sharing_the_harvest_revised_and_expanded:paperback

I’m also including a link to our catalog http://www.chelseagreen.com/about/tradeinfo/DownloadCatalog —we’ve got a ton of fantastic titles in print and would love to get the word out on them! Take a look, and if you think you might like to review any titles, let me know and we’ll send you review copies. Thanks so much for all you do!

Best regards,
Laura Cherkas
